iPad 120fps games on ipad air 3 2019 ?

Hey guys
Just wanna confirm if our awesome ipad air 3 2019 can run games on 120 fps or not

I know it can run games super smooth on 60 fps ( tried fortnite pubg and shadowgun legends and can confirm that)

Just wanted to know if 120 fps is possible or not

Maybe, but the air 3 has no promotion display tech to show 120fps in games or the UI

Yeah, only the iPad Pro 10.5”/12.9” 2017 and the iPad Pro 11”/12.9” 2018 have Pro Motion(120hz).

Also the only game I know of that can actually run at 120 FPS is PUBG mobile. Fortnite and the like are 60 FPS max. I’m not sure about shadowgun, but I bet it’s just 60 as well.

The 120hz screen really isn’t great for gaming on iOS as it’s not powerful enough to take full advantage of it. PC is where you’ll see the full use of high refresh rate displays for games.

It’s nice for scrolling, animations of iOS and drawing with the Apple Pencil, but that’s about it.

Shadown on android is 120 fps just read yesterday about it on a page showing 120 fps games on asus rog phone 2

So maybe it will be on ios too as 120 fps
Also guns of boom also have 120 fps support on ios if i remember correct

There are a few games out there that do in fact support 120Hz.
