Blur Busters

I need a few Mac users on Macs very different than my MacBook Pro M1; to test an upgraded motion fluidity workarounds.

I did some very unconventional (xkcd #1172 style) motion fluidity optimizations in TestUFO Version 3.0.11 that reduced stutters by 98% in frequency, to less than 1 framedrop every 5 seconds on at least my Mac when running as the only window; However, I am not sure it behaves consistently across Macs.

Instructions:
1. Quit all applications (so it goes in low-power mode, which often stutters more: problem I am trying to solve)
2. Make sure you follow MacRumor's instructions to turn off "Prefer Page Rendering Updates Near 60fps" in Safari, to make it run at full frame rate on Mac 120 Hz.
3. Make sure nothing is consuming CPU/GPU in the background.
Idle Macs stutters a lot from from power management
4. Click TestUFO -> Gear Icon -> Disabled vs Enabled

5. Compare testufo.com with the setting to "Disabled" vs "Enabled"
(Enabled runs more smoothly with fewer stutters)

6. Compare testufo.com/animation-time-graph with setting to "Disabled" vs "Enabled"
(Enabled has fewer erratic flickers in Frameskipping Indicator at right-edge)

Questions:
A. Do you see motion improvements in your browser? (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)
B. Which Mac and CPU you used (Mini, Pro, MacBook Air/Pro/Neo, A19/M1/2/3/4/5)
C. Which version of iOS & Safari you used (& Chrome, if using Chrome)

Thank you so much!

A. Do you see improvements in the "beta." version of TestUFO in Chrome and/or Safari?
I do see an improvement in Safari, and a regression in Firefox. FF gets stuck at 29fps.
B. Which Mac and CPU you used (Mini, Pro, MacBook Air/Pro/Neo, A19/M1/2/3/4/5)
mini M4 Pro, with 165Hz display.
C. Which version of iOS & Safari you used (& Chrome, if using Chrome)
Latest Sequoia, firefox is 148.0.2.

Excellent feedback - I will detect Firefox and avoid the optimization I made. It seems to help Chrome and Safari much more than Firefox. I need to hear from others, so keep the feedback coming.

UPDATE: Mac M5 Max user just sent a social media message to me, saying that beta really improved things; surprised that M5 Max still requires my optimization to stop stuttering.

UPDATE -- Firefox Improves Now! I found a way to make FireFox run smoother.
Also, this is now a user configurable setting on the website via the TestUFO gear icon;

I have launched this to the production website so the same code is running at testufo and beta.
I got unamious positive feedback from all Mac users in all channels (here, social media, email, etc).

To other Mac users:
I'd love to also hear from others for the quick 1 minute test in my original post.
I want to make sure I didn't create any regressions.

I got sufficient feedback it is running stable.

To the two members from this forum that privately contacted me to help beta-test this -- thank you!
