That's what I'm thinking too. Once the iPhone 5 is released, then those shares should jump back up.
and even if other handset makers show off higher specs, it won't matter, as the mainstream consumer likes stability, and predictability. iPhone offers this.
seems like there are a ton of anti-Apple users on here. Thats fine, but I feel like what we discuss here on this forum, is totally different from the mainstream user.
Did you know half of iPhone 4 users think they're on 4G because of the iPhone4 name?
We have to remember that we are not the demographic, mainstream users are, who just pop into their local carrier store when its time for an upgrade.
Profit margins is more important to Apple than volume sales. Look at the Mac. They sell them at a premium but Apple makes great computing software anyway with a perfectly streamlined hardware.Yeah. It's actually kind of ridiculous Apple has waited nearly a year and a half to update their phone. I doubt they really care about market share though.
