9to5macs new info

Yikes. I saw it. This isn't good. So basically the new iPhone next month, just may be the low cost iPhone 4 with upgraded components...and iPhone 5 (big upgrade) may be delayed until 2012. Wow, this would totally suck! I'll keep my iPhone 4 until the real update comes. I'll pass on a minor update. Not using my upgrade for that crap.

I think you misread that. The iPhone 5 will come out but will be in shortages until 2012. It will be hard to get your hands on one is basically what they are saying. Time to get the camping gear out...

This news makes me happy and kinda upset at the same time.

This explains why that Kuo analyst only saw the iPhone 4S in the Supply lines. So looks like the iPhone 5 will be the new "White iPhone 4". But in all honesty, 9to5Mac has a good track record, and if this is legit, then i don't mind waiting camping out. Because hell, my iPhone 3G is nearly dead.

Here's hoping, c'mon Apple let's get the invites rolling already!

Makes no difference to me, give me the date of launch so I can request time off of work and I'll be there the night before ready to camp out.

Agreed, I've come to trust 9to5mac on most things. I'm hoping that there won't really be a delay with the real iPhone 5, maybe just a few weeks or something at most. But FML, I'm tired of waiting. But, iOS 5 has been a godsend for my iPhone 4, truly awesome.

It's worth waiting until any potential bugs are ironed out? I've got no choice as I've blown the budget for a while on my new MBA+ssd and Thunderbolt cable...£55.00 quid in the UK for the damn cable......I hope it performs as well as described:)
 
The iPhone 5 itself is a sight to behold, we’ve been told. It is impossibly light, yet much firmer than Samsung Galaxy phones which are backed in plastic. The camera rivals point and shoot cameras and will be a major marketing point for this device.

4s or 5, the pentup demand for the next gen iPhones is off the charts. Especially with leaks like this about shortages. Holy batman will there be lines and exploding servers. Will make the iPad 2 lines look like lines for the Blackberry Storm.

I'm pretty sure we knows its gonna be thinner and redesigned, have an A5, 8 meg camera, bigger screen. Seems like they know at least something. Not a complete mystery.
 
Oh no! What am I going to do? Oh, nothing. I'm still under contract with the iPhone 4 until December 2012. :rolleyes:
