Saying this crashes Siri 100% of the time.

Does asking Siri to "Edit my contact" crash your iPhone?

If I make Siri display a contact, (I just say my name) and then say "Edit my contact" it will guarantee a crash 100% of the time. Now, it will not work if you say (or it hears you say) "edit my contacts" and it will also not work if Siri is not displaying a contact in her screen.

It happens every time for me. You?

She tells me that too. Make sure she hears you say "Edit my contact" with NO 's' at the end of contact. Also make sure that Siri is displaying a contact when you say it.
 
Wow, out of all the threads i have seen on this forum, this is probably the first real PROBLEM i've seen with Siri.

Nice find OP, hope they fix things like that before i get my 4s next month!
 
When I asked Who am I and it displayed my contact, then said edit my contact it just gave the denial. If I started with show my contact it crashes.

This is not what I would call an error. Believe it or not there are lots of things that Siri can not do. Sometimes she will get upset and breakdown.

She will get better and better in the future.
 
Nice find, OP! This is the first negative I've found with Siri. I'm certain that after this error makes its way to Apple, they will fix it.
 
If i just bring the contact up and then ask, it doesn't happen, but if i say 'show my contact' and then 'edit my contact', it crashes.
 
I just tried this three times and each time I got a crash. I am going to call AppleCare about this. I suggest that you do the same. I am pretty sure that Apple is aware of the issue and working on a fix for it.

I just say my first name. She brings up my contact. I say 'edit my contact' and she has a breakdown.
 
Also, sorry for the DP, but to the people acting like I'm saying it's an issue and 'omg I can't say "edit my contact"', that's not the point of this thread. I'm just pointing out a find.

I would very much call it an error

No this isn't something that you will do regularly, HOWEVER it is an issue that needs to be fixed.

Just like the issue with the smart cover issue with ipad 2's now with ios5.

I doubt anyone normally Hits the power button till the "slide to power off" comes up then closes ther smart cover, then opens it then hits cancel to be the way they get into their ipad. But hey, someone found a flaw and it needs to be fixed.

Same with this phrase, it needs to get fixed.
