127.0.0.1 error

hi,

thought I'd see if anyone can help me..

My server is running, but when I type 127.0.0.1 into safari i get:

Safari can’t open the page “http://127.0.0.1/” because it could not connect to the server “127.0.0.1”.

Any ideas as to what's wrong with it?

do we get any more clues than that? Are you running the built in Apache (via the Personal Web Sharing pref)? Did you try http://localhost ? Have you altered the httpd.conf file at all?

Odd.. is the server running on port 80? What if you try localhost instead?
