I don't even think of how much storage I'm using. I check maybe once every few months but not because I need to. Not having to think about it is nice but I don't go out of my way to purposely use as much storage as I can. Especially for a bunch of **** I don't need like a bunch of songs I'll never listen to or photos that I'm never going to look at.

Currently 10,841 songs down converted to 256 kbps with 28 GB remaining on phone.

No movies - using my iPad for that.

It's magically filling itself. Music, videos, pictures, blogs, apps it' amazing, but than you know what they say; nature abhors a vacuum.

Mainly 320kbps music ripped from my cd collection.

5971 songs
1 video
14 photos
25 apps

I've got 60.3 gb free.

I might sync up some music videos down the road, so that i'll take up some space.:D:apple:

Does iTunes offer music in FLAC format? If not, where would I find it?

I use an App called CanOpener and load directly into it via iTunes.
CanOpener is designed to enhance headphone listening.

Great app, highly recommended.

coming from a 32 gb iphone 4s i knew i needed at least a 64gb and was so happy that the 64gb was now a mid tier option.

but then i decided to get the 128gb.
for whatever reason. not sure.
lol. impulse buy i guess.

but anyway, im glad i did.

Yeah I've been converting allot of CD's to 320Kbps from PCM/FLAC and I think its a good trade off instead of lossless.

Lol I had a 32GB 5c and originally wanted the 64GB but changed to 128GB's last minute to speed up shipment...totally worth it! I wouldn't have my iPhone tell tomorrow (or later!) if I stuck with 64GB's!

iTunes doesn't support FLAC guys.....if it did I'd be pretty happy but I have to convert everything to fricken AIFF (much larger) or the elusive ALAC (which I can never convert to with ease).

I thought conversion was made easy with XLD...

damn how do you guys have so many apps lol .. i have like 20
Years and years of iOS devices man! I got apps from my original iPod touch! I was a freshman in highschool man! Haha. Honestly I have restored from back ups since my original iPod touch so its like one giant bucket of crap getting poured into a brand new device everytime LOL, I kind of like it that way, I tend to hang onto stuff for a while. Pretty sure I have like 5 or 6 apps that haven't been updated since like '09..lmao

EDIT: Just opened an app that hadn't even been updated for iPhone 4 :O it just instantly crashed....I just wept a tear of nostalgia there :p

I normally use from 25-30 GB on my iPhones, but I got a bit carried away when ordering, aaaannnndddddd...

at first i was settled on the 64gb then i for some reason impulse bought the 128

couldnt be more happy. now that im not constrained by memory (i had a 32gb iphone). i dont have to worry about deleting photos and videos... dont have to worry about deleting apps to make room for another.

guess what, after a month of having all this space, my total used space is 62gb.
64gb iphone wouldnt have been big enough for me!

I got the 128gb because I got all giddy and excited and the ghost of Steve Jobs told me to. LOL. But seriously, I am finding that don't need it. Will likely drop back to 64gb on the next phone.

But am enjoying higher bitrate for music. I reduced on the previous phone due to space. I loaded some movies & shows on it. Haven't watched a single one. I also have an iPad.

Mostly, I got it so that when I travel, I can use it as a backup for my camera. I use ShutterSnitch to import files wirelessly. It's nice to have a lot of my albums & portfolios on it but it's not a must. Once Apple finally figures out the iCloud Library/Photos app replacement, this cloud will hopefully get better (I'm not using it until then).

Next round of upgrades, I'll do 64gb iPhone and 128gb iPad....unless they kill the mini :(

Just received my 128 6+ today.. First iPhone since the 3GS.

The first thing I don't was transfer across an 85GB iTunes playlist.

Hey it's my twin! I did like a 90ish GB playlist. I went back to iPhone mostly because they offered 128GB and I love to have mass quantities of music with me at all times.

I like having a big house that I don't need :)

There weren't any 64GB versions available so I got the 128 so I could get a phone that day.

I've filled up about 40 GB in 7 days (mostly collected songs over the course of 10 years), apps, some games, and photos/videos.

I never have enough space :(
