128gb....We are still waiting.....

So true.

The brilliance of Apple's sealed phones is the extra profits Apple has enjoyed because of the fat margins the larger capacity iPhones bring in. With memory being a cheap commodity, it enables Apple to enjoy gross profits other companies can't hope to experience.
And you're always happy to chip in your share, yeah?

Make no mistake, I spend obscene amounts on Apple annually. Computers, iDevices and peripherals, all in with Apple since 1991, it's something I enjoy. Yet I also invest equally in Android, Windows, and other platforms for the purpose of enjoying the first hand experience and staying educated in all aspects of the latest technology.

With the 256GB iPad Pro 12.9 & 9.7" currently already in production, a 256GB iPhone 7 is extremely likely.
Last time I checked, iPads used 2 flash memory chips compared to the iPhones 1. Two 128GB chips are going to be a lot cheaper than one 256GB chip, and more readily available.

I don't know if this is different for recent iPads, but I wouldn't think so. iPads have more internal space.

But but but Apple says 16GB is enough as they supply it

/s

I don't put most of my iTunes library on my phone, nor do I see the need to have a lot of apps installed. I'd be quite happy with 64GB. Have a 32GB 5S and have 18.6GB free :)

The iPhone 7 will probably remain 16/64/128 and the iPhone 7+ (or Pro) will probably go 32/128/256. No doubt Apple will look to increase the price of the larger phone, especially if it also gets the 2nd rear camera.

Apple has always kept storage size the same between models. Whether iPhone or iPad through the years. Keeps the customers happy. Even when the 6/6 Plus launched it was 16, 64 & 128GB between both models. The only advantage the 7 Plus may have is dual camera, bigger battery and maybe a faster processor then the 7.

Not really true anymore. There is a 32GB iPad Pro, both 9.7" and 12.9". No 32GB iPhone exists. iPod Touch also has that 32GB option. I doubt we are going to see a 4th storage size option for the iPhone, and I doubt they are going to do away with 16GB.
