Anyone with a 13" 2.6/8/512 have a toasty laptop on their lap? Mine gets really warm/hot.

The 15" dGPU doesn't even break a sweat.

Hmmm, got mine the other day, and spent last night transfering photos, music etc from my ext. hd to the new mac wothout breaking a sweat.

As long as you do not cover the vents with your sweatpants, it should be ok.

Hmm. I don't feel like exchanging it for another would resolve the issue. Or would it?

Is this just user air?

Also? Are the fans sucking in air from under the display or at the vent?

I've got the exact same model. Day-to-day tasks, it is very cool.

Transferring files, using drop box, or other major task and it does get a bit warm. Not as bad as my previous dv6 which got uncomfortably hot.

Only been running mine for a few hours, nothing heavy duty, but it's certainly cooler than my 2010 15", even with the 15" running on the internal graphics.
