13" 2011 trackpad not making click noise

today I noticed that the right side of my trackpad does not make the clicking noise that it used to. it registers clicks just fine, but the click and springy effect is faint. left side is just normal.

what might be the problem ?

p.s. I have not spilled anything on it.

If you have warranty or Applecare, take it to an Apple Store. They will test it, and repair or replace as required.
