I am unsure whether i should get an i5 or i7, but given the fact I want to keep this machine for at least 2 years ill go with the i7 :)

13" is fine for your light gaming use. Heck the 13" can play Crysis 2 at good FPS because of it's low res screen.

Yes but you need to play the game on low - medium settings (graphics wise), my 2010 MBP 13" struggled to cope with the game, giving low frame rates per second and significant lag at times - this was even with the MBP having 8GB RAM, intel x25-m G2 SSD, and 2.4gHZ processor. But since then, the new 2011 pro's have quad core CPUs and intel core i7s, along with AMD radeon HD graphics, so it might benefit with these new features.
