Would anyone disagree that 799 for the 13 in macbook is worth running out and purchasing one. Have a mini that my wife wants and need to get a new mac and 1300 for the unibody is a bit much for my blood.

nope 799 after rebate of 200 from microcenter..hate the rebate stuff but cant beat the price anywhere..just have to sell my acer netbook:)

that sounds like a good deal - however does micro center do the thing where they give you 20/40GB hdd, and 512MB of RAM and then you have to upgrade it all for extra

and is this the polycarbonate MacBook with subpar hardware? (the one before the last update)

what are the specs
