13 inch vs. 15 inch MBP Decision?

The 15" is a nice machine and much more powerful, but it's $600 more and that's nothing to sneeze at. The good part is the resale value will be much higher.

I plan on keeping the laptop for around 3 years. Your suggestions?

Ok about that.. look at both resale values but add $600 that you are saving from buying the 13". And in my experience i really like my 13 i think is perfect.

The MBA 13" is the ultimate "sweet spot" for traveling. Very powerful and fast, and thin and light.

...And it works pretty good when paired up with an iPad through Air Display.

I didn't know anything about Air Display till I saw your message. I travel with a 13" MBA and use a second screen at work. Now I have a good excuse to get an iPad. Also, I normally tether to my Droid for wifi access to the internet. I'm supposing that I can use that for the Air Display link between the iPad and the MBA. Thanks
