Hello, i'm a student that's going to enter university soon.
Do you guys think a macbook pro or a macbook air suits me better? I'm looking at the 128GB, 1.8GHz air vs 2.4GHz pro.
Basically this laptop will be used for school work, watching videos, surfing net and other miscellaneous stuffs. May use photoshop for some photo editing.
As i'm a complete IT noob, can someone explain what's the difference between pro and air and does the 1.8GHz and 2.4GHz makes a big difference?
Ohya, i'm not really concerned about the optical drive and the storage and I can always store my stuffs in an external hard drive.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Either one would be fine. Use your budget to decide.

The Pro is probably better, if you like the upgradeability. The Pro has also a much better processor, more ports (Gigabit-Ethernet, FW800, 2 x USB 3.0 and 1 x Thunderbolt), and a "SuperDrive" for your Audio CDs/Video DVDs.

Btw, i see no 2.4 GHz 13" MBP. Only a 13" MBP with a 2.5 GHz processor (Ivy Bridge).
