I apologize if some of you get the feeling I'm looking for conflict, I am not at all. It's just annoying how some people have this fixation on resolution and assume it's the same for everyone.
This is exactly how I feel.
I use my MacBook Pro day in and day out, from photo editing, to HD video, to recording, rendering, browsing, composition, and playing games and I have no gripes whatsoever with the resolution.
Could it be higher? yes.
Although, if you look at the spec differences and the design differences between the 13 inch air and the baseline MBP, the screen resolution is the only thing it has going for it, oh and saving 2 pounds.
Other than that, there are a lot more things you have to concider; but I think people should just mention the change in resolution, not make it out like it's some huge deal-breaker or whatever.
