I want a 13" MBP b/c of size & portablility...I wont use it for much gaming, but I do want starcraft 2. The PC beta requirements are:

    PC Minimum Requirements:
    • Windows XP SP3/Vista SP1/Windows 7
    • 2.2 Ghz Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon processor
    • 1 GB system RAM/1.5 GB for Vista and Windows 7
    • 128 MB NVidia GeForce 6600 GT/ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card
    • 1024x768 minimum display resolution
    • 4 GB free hard space (Beta)

I don't know how much the requirements will change from now until release, and I'm not very computer savy. Will either of the updated 13" MBP's run starcraft 2 at an "acceptable" level? Will the base model (2.4 GHz, 320M) work ok?

Probably. Try and find a video of somebody using the 9400m. Which is worse.

Yes, you will be able to play both Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 on the computer.

Yes, the CPU difference is insignificant as you will be GPU bound on both (the CPU upgrade is also insignificant in itself).

The 13" offer no real world performance difference in games between models.

My 4 year old HP with Geforce Go 7400 is playing SC2...

Question is how smoothly and at what settings...

(for me, somewhat laggy at all low settings (SC1 graphics...imagine)) =(
