That will never happen. The 13" is really in all intents and purposes still just a Macbook. Only 15" and upwards can be considered machines that pros would use for the larger screen estate hence the discrete GPU.

Note: Don't trust 11yr olds who make a statement and refer to their macbook pro as a BadBoyPro

Does the macbook have firewire or an SD card slot? no.
Does the macbook support 8GB Ram? no.

Does the 13" MBP? yes.

11year old noobs need to gtfo or at least educate themselves before posting.

Wow, people really don't like Shambo, do they? I mean, trashing him when he posts is one thing, digging up a thread which has been dead for over 4 months purely to criticise his post and add nothing to the debate is really something else!

Well, now that the thread is active again...

IF Apple has the Arrandale processors in the 13" MBP, what would be a better option than using the integrated GPU?
As most people have said here, it would be strange to get a new MBP with a worse GPU than they released 6 months ago.

IS there another option than descrete GPU besides the integrated Intel GPU?

Please tell me you are not suggesting using the i3 IGP. Personally, Apple just needs to include the 9600m or something similar to the GT335M (like whats in the Ailenware netbook). I mean, if Ailenware can put the GT335M in an 11 inch netbook, Apple can surely upgrade the graphics chip in the 13" MBP, not all that hard.

Let's hope they've figured it out nicely (graphics wise) so that we don't have anything to yawn about when the MBP's get announced :)

Alienwares notebook does not have a disc drive and it is thicker then the 13in MBP, it's a nice machine but it's no miracle IMO. Wouldn't mind seeing the disc drive being dropped in the 13in.

Its not much thicker then the MBP, and the fact that there is a disk drive is not the matter here. And no disk drive? the MBA is for that... fact is that if Ailenware (ie, Dell) can get the GT335M in an 11inch netbook, it can most certainly get put into a 13" MBP.
