The new non-touch wifi will top out at 876Mb/s. It's not full duplex, it uses CSMA/CA, but it's still going to potentially give you far more bandwidth.
My MacBook Pro currently has negotiated a 585Mb/s connection with my router based on where I'm currently sitting and it'll still more than max out a 100Mb/s link in real work throughout.
Don't believe the hype, you're good. 🙂 Assuming you're using 802.11ac at home in 5GHz space and have a good connection etc.
If you're using 2.4GHz with USB3 devices and dongles that could be an issue. If that's the case, ensure you're using 5GHz.
