Hi, i am tempted to switch from my 12 Mini to 13 Mini or 13 Pro
At first glance, i thought 12 Mini was the perfect size, i was coming from SE first gen, so it doesnt look too small to me, actually it looked even sightly big enough.
Now i have almost the opposite opinion, i still dont believe its rather small but when you got used to see bigger smartphones/iPhone, you notice your own 12 Mini does look tiny in comparison lol
The other reason why i would switch its battery life, bit weak, need to charge every night
I am also tempted to go on 13 Pro because battery life seems amazing, bigger phone means also bigger display (i like to watch movies, maybe it helps for video content)
Also not mentioning Promotion which is cool feature to have in 2022!
I m stuck, 13 Mini would be slight improvement while 13 Pro would be drastic change
What do you advice me? I can still wait until next iPhone 14 but i know its better to pick ''S'' model years (13 is actually 12S)
Thanks

EDIT: my biggest iPhone was iPhone X but i didnt like it at this time, a bit too big and too much weight but times have changed, maybe myself

if battery life is your biggest reason for considering a change, have you tried out a battery case to extend the battery life? It would be a lot cheaper than a new phone, and you could hold off until the 14 models are released. Even if they don't have a 14 model year in the mini size, Apple still would likely be offering the 13 mini (just like they offer the 12 mini now) for a reduced price.

Buy a Pro and test it during the return period. Return if you’re not satisfied.
Well i ve heard a lot of stolen return iPhone by delivery guys, i dont want to test any iPhone at this end of year

If battery life was sightly better, i would keep it: but i cant use for two days (normally any iPhone last two days with my kind of light usage), battery health decreases too much as well

Stuff always gets stolen, ultimately however that’s not your issue and beyond your control. You should have used the extended return period over Christmas for some additional try-out time.

How much better do you think?
All I can say is based on my use, here is what I've observed:
with 12 mini - have to charge every day around 5 PM otherwise it will be dead by 10 PM.
with 13 mini - I can wait to charge the next morning.

According to Apple, 13 mini should last at least 1.5 hours more use (not standby) compared to 12 mini.
