I am an early 2011 13" owner and since Apple failed to do anything meaningful with the 13" i m jumping boats to the Asus zenbook prime. I m selling my pro next week so i can get a decent deal out of it, what are you guys going to do to?

2011 model sounds new to me. My 2008 model just misses the cutoff for installing Mountain Lion, so I will be using Snow Leopard for a while longer. Meets my needs.

I'm in the same boat you are. I just can't justify $2200 for a laptop. I like the screen, the new form and the power. But $2200 is just too much for me. I hope a 13" can come in around the $1500 price point.
I'm gonna keep mine for at least another year or two. hopefully the 15" retina will come down to around 17-1800 by then. I have to many student loads to justify the $2200(+tax) price.
