I am an early 2011 13" owner and since Apple failed to do anything meaningful with the 13" i m jumping boats to the Asus zenbook prime. I m selling my pro next week so i can get a decent deal out of it, what are you guys going to do to?

The analyst who predicted the 15" retina a week or two ago said August. If not, probably next year.
Looks like my 2008 MB, iPad 2 and PC desktop will have to make it a little while longer.

2011? what's the rush to change notebooks? LOL...maybe if it was a 2007 macbook...or a powerbook...
relax. if not august, hopefully by the holidays. by then, you mbp will be all of a year-and-a half old...
I'm not going to rush into things, but I think I'll be selling my 13" Early 2011 and Thunderbolt Display in order to grab the new Retina Macbook Pro.
I'm still trying to figure out if the Thunderbolt Display is needed or not with that massive amount of resolution on the RMBP.

2011 model sounds new to me. My 2008 model just misses the cutoff for installing Mountain Lion, so I will be using Snow Leopard for a while longer. Meets my needs.
I'm in the same boat you are. I just can't justify $2200 for a laptop. I like the screen, the new form and the power. But $2200 is just too much for me. I hope a 13" can come in around the $1500 price point.
