....I plan to use this at college. Probably wont be running any difficult programs but i want the best bang for my buck obviously...

lol nope not doin' it right

Just generally wrong..

i live & die on my 13"; my main app is logic (i use it full-screen), and i've never had a problem. sure it's nice on my collabs iMac...

because i move around a lot (some travel, and the infamous ny subway system), the 13" is perfect, fits in my backpack, it's lite, etc.

logic, photoshop, dreamweaver...etc. all good.

Ok, in all honesty saying "forget it" was a bit of an exaggeration. The 13" is nice and portable, but I found working very large projects in Logic (especially when using the mixer) rather fiddly. It's still a great laptop, but I just reckon it'd be better with the same resolution as the 15" Pro (what the 13" Air has).

i hear you; 15" screen definitely shows more than the 13". but coming from a 12" powerbook (where i first worked in logic), the 13" RULES.

i can only be in one place at a time anyway, and i don't mind scrolling
(besides, these days, i rarely see the mixer, preferring to work in the arrange window...)

bottom line, always: whatever works for you.
