13 rMBP and 27 ACD

Already own the 27 ACD and about to buy a 2013 13" rMBP.

Would the rMBP be able to display onto the ACD without the fans running most of the time?

I am a very light user, mainly web surfing and to manage my iTunes and camera pics.

My 2012 base MBA powers a 27" U2713H without any problem. I only hear the fans when I run a VM on the MBA screen at the same time. so a rMBP shouldn't have any problems at all.
