Is it possible to purchase a replacement bottom cover for a 13" unibody MBP?

Source?

thanks

Don't forget to make note of your serial number, which is on the bottom case cover.

Can someone please verify this. Isn't the serial number also printed on the RAM slot? I'm curious to know because of another thread. Some say it's not there but pictures of other 13" MacBook Pro's have it or it might not be the serial number but instead another number of something else.

MacBook Pro: How to find the Serial Number:
To find the serial number located on the computer
MacBook Pro (17-Inch, Early 2009), MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009), MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009)

The serial number is laser etched on the back of the computer, just below the agency approval icons.

I know of that article but perhaps Apple doesn't want the user to remove the back plate just to find the serial number.

I can't really see it, but it looks like the serial number on the RAM slot (wxx...)

$150 is pretty steep for a sheet of aluminum. I was thinking I might get one after seeing this thread because mine is *slightly* not flat. I think I will deal with it at that price.

I wish there was an option to get a plate with some extra depth and an extra battery. That would be great!
