Alright, long story so I'll try to keep this short.

I have my internet connection running through my Time Capsule, and then into my Macbook Pro. I'm trying to run a server and need to port forward 25565.

So, I made my ethernet connection DHCP with manual address (which is .11)

I opened up Time Capsule, and went into internet, NAT, and Enabled NAT Port Mapping Protocol, inside I created a port of Public UDP 25565, and Public TCP 25565, matched the IP address to that of my ethernet (.11,) and set the Private UDP and TCP to 25565 as well.

That's all there is to be done, right? Am I missing something?

I check to see if 25565 is open, and it's not. What is going on?

That should be all you have to do. Does your modem from your ISP have routing functionality that might be blocking it from its end?

Yes it does, but I turned the firewall off on it.
It's an AT&T U-Verse modem so configuration is a pain in the butt to do.
