I'm curious. How many of you have a perfect new iPad?

No yellow tint, no bleeding, no warming up, no wifi disconnect, no battery charging shenanigans. Just a purely perfect iPad specimen.

I seem to have two.

Perfection is always in the eye of the beholder. I had to swap my preorder at my local Apple store last night due to light bleeding but the replacement looks perfect to me and that is all that matters :)

All six of mine are flawless.

On one of them I did a restore from an iPad 2 backup. The other five I setup as new. I immediately noticed that the backup model was slower and had trouble holding a WiFi signal. The screen was sluggish and a bit murky as well.

I restored that one back to factory and set it up as new and it joined its siblings on the perfect list again.

I really believe that restoring new devices from old backups is asking for trouble.

Mine gets a little warm and I have two blueish smudges on the right side of the screen. Well they look like smudges but are actually like a discoloration under the glass. I hate having to go get an Apple product exchanged because of a defect. But I love how they take care of their customers if there is any little defect. Yay Apple!

This is my first iPad and so far it is totally perfect and lived up to all my expectations. Good job Apple. :apple: :)

Mine seems pretty perfect. No dead pixels, backlight bleed, or other issues to note except software stuff. (Mainly, the WSJ reader apparently isn't use the native text scaling and as a result text looks fuzzy on the new screen.)

I have no flaws to complain about.

However, comparing the iPad 1 screen to the iPad 2 and new iPad, the 1 is a very cool color where the 2 and 3 are warmer in color.

Not a complaint just an observation. :D

If you're asking about "perfection" then no, I have a slight light leak under the bezel. It's only viewable at extreme angles though.

Then vote no. I realize "perfection" can be in the eye of the beholder. Some of us may not notice or care about some of these things, so we consider ours perfect. I checked both of mine thoroughly and can't honestly find any flaws.

I guess if you "think" your iPad is perfect, then that's all that matters. :D If you think it is flawed, then it doesn't matter, and Apple will make it right. They have great customer service.

I was just curious to get a feel for how many people felt their iPads were perfect. It seems most of the unhappy folks are sleeping in today... :D

It doesn't charge any slower than the iPad1 did. But even then it was never an issue. It lasts all day and I plug it in at night. So if there is an issue, it wouldn't present itself during my normal use.

It's just perfection isn't easily defined if you let people make up their own opinions. There are people who are happy with the product itself (it's capabilities) but notice those slight variances that occur in any mass produced product.

I love the device :) I might just swap it out in a week ( and iCloud makes transferring to another device so easy)

I voted not perfect. My iPad is a quality piece, but nothing is perfect! There is room for improvement with everything! IMHO :)
