Is it just me or would Siri be awesome on an iMac.

A click of a button on the keyboard and you could ask it something and it would go search for you.

For example, writing an essay for University or doing some sort of research and you could then press a button, a Siri interface pops up discreetly, you ask it a question and it will search and display a list of results in a drop down for you.

You could do all this whilst carrying on with your work and see the results in real time in Siri's menu.

It could even work with something as simple as asking it to remind you in 25 minutes when dinner is ready.

It could help you with all your e-mails just like it's iPhone sibling.

And of course you ask it if it loves you, as seems usual.

Yeah but it's cool to spread awareness. I bet a few apple developers check in on here to see what fans want.

i for one think siri for mac would be awesome. i'd probably use it more often since it could be on all the time - it can be awkward on an iphone 4 to have to hold down a button first. i understand they have to do it that way for battery saving reasons.
