READ: $100 Back to School Gift Card Glitch

In regards to the glitch with the back to school gift cards..

I've been advised by Apple live chat (after waiting 30 minutes!) that the processing department is manually adding gift cards for all orders TODAY, and tomorrow the issue will be fixed.

So for the mean time I was advised to remove the gift card and checkout as usual and they should add it to my order manually as long as I'm purchasing through my school's store..

Now I'm just hoping we get a solid ETA on shipping w/ expedited. The wording is confusing.

I just called and he said the same thing. Delete the card, they will automatically take care of it. No need to call in or anything.

I got the base model new 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display - $1,999

+ tax

I was able to place my order with the B2S card in the cart. I added everything needed until you get to the checkout now screen. From there, I clicked on the store banner, then highlighted my cart, then hit checkout. Everything worked but the discount for the card did not apply to the final balance. Per the apple chat rep, they will remove the charge for the B2S card after you place the order or you can checkout without it and they will manually apply it. Hope this helps!

I prob would of upgraded the 512GB Flash to 768, but it added a 3-5 week ship time. 5-7 days will be bad enough to wait.
