Mine was also only at 30 %, but it slows down when 12-13 gb + 1.3 gb reserved were used.
The 32 gb m1 max version has no slow down. It's 900 Euros more expensive, but i wont spend so much money for a notebook when it's already at the beginning slow. I have no alternative so.

Look how much ram this os is using. Only by using this ridiculous apps and only a few tabs. The comments about memory pressure are funny :D. I opened 20 - 30 tabs and the m1 pro was a lot slower.

The comments about memory pressure might be funny to you, but they are also correct.
The OS will use as much memory as there is available, simply because it can.
There is no need to unload memory if you still have some more available, but that doesn’t mean that it is necessary.

You might find useful to read a bit more about MacOS memory management.
This links offer a simple overview:

If it's slow (for me, im used to instant, no significantly delay ;)) there help no explanations about the theory.

This is not real time video, before this sequence. Sadly. But i think it will slow down when it's 2 gb below the maximum. It's pretty equal compared with the 16 gb model at 12 - 13 gbyte ram used.

I’m not quite sure what u r talking about. Is your goal NOT to use ur ram? Apple will soak up what’s available. Will do the same with 32gb as well. If u were showing memory pressure at red and the computer stuttering and getting memory issue warnings that’s different. Looks like all is well with your computer and you feel having less ram usage, which you paid for to use, becoming ur goal.

The SSD is 512GB, handles things just fine. I don't use any pro app at all (Final Cut, Da Vinci, Premiere, etc.), only Chrome, PDF Viewer, a lot of open source scripts via brew, and my Memory pressure is mostly on the 30% range, so I can't see how upgrading the RAM would help....
Sorry for being unclear
I can see you have 32GB RAM, and has 18GB swap
This means to me that your workflow will use a lot of memory, and having 32GB RAM results in that amount of swap.
Thus will make the SSD life shorter than a machine with larger SSD or more RAM.
But how short? I doubt anyone can tell accurately.
As long as you feel fine with it then no trouble here.
