Apple never releases updates on weekends or holidays.
Goes to prove I should not read what I see on the net .
This is what I found but guess they don’t really know really .

Apple doesn't publicly announce when it will release a new version of iOS, but we can follow some clues. Since the developer beta for iOS 14.5 became available on Feb. 1, and the public beta shortly after, and releases come out roughly once a month, we can expect to see the final version of iOS 14.5 sometime in February.

Given that February ends tomorrow we know that supposition is incorrect. It's much more common that we get more than 2 betas before an iOS version is released, but 14.4 was released after 2 betas. There's also the possibility that Apple holds 14.5's release for whenever they release new products some time in March.

On iOS 14.5 beta and watch OS 7.4 beta. 90% of the time the “unlock with apple watch” feature does not work. Has anyone else had this issue? This is with multiple different masks and colors. Usually says “unable to connect to apple watch” and the watch tries to unlock the phone, but cant.
And that’s why you need an underscreen Touch ID !!!!!

I had my first failure today, I tried 3 or 4 times and it kept failing, I eventually got a “can’t connect to watch” message and had to use my passcode.

Absolutely no sign of version 14.5 coming out for the public . Have decided to install the beta version instead
