Pardon my ignorance but I haven’t been able to figure this out via Google.

I know the big deal about 14.5 is the privacy tracking. But... don’t we already have that? I have the same option to allow apps to track on 14.4.

What is this difference between what I have and what is coming in 14.5?

Previously tracking was all or nothing, it was either on or off. Now it will be on a per app basis. The other component is that app have to have code built in for compliance.

Personally, I think the big deal with iOS 14.5 is the Apple Watch unlock iPhone while wearing a mask option.
That thing is going to be life-altering!
