14-day return policy on VZW web ordered phones?

I ordered an iPhone from Verizon and it shipped to my house. How does the 14 day return policy work in that situation? Does the 14 day period start when the iphone ships or is it the day I activate it? Thanks

I believe ships. I don't think you can hold off on activating it for 6 months and then return it.
