14 days return windows when asking for an exchange?

you receive your mbp on January 1st

you thus have until the 15th to return it

however your unit has a deffect,and you ask for an exchange.given it's custom unit,you are allowed to keep it until you receive the new unit .

the new unit comes January 16th (or anyday after the 15 )

is this still within the 14 days,as the functional unit was basically received on 16,so you have till January 30, (16th+14days) or are you left with what u have and unable to return it ?

I'm in the EU so these 14 days are a law thing
