My fairly new 14 inch MacBook Pro is loosing about 10% battery a day while shutdown. If I just let it sleep it will only loose about 1% a day. WTW had it shut down for the past few day and lost over 30%. Makes no sense it is a very light used MacBook.

I suspect bad battery reporting. The machine used extremely little electricity while shut down.
Idk I have been noticing more drain when shutdown for a while, but usually only shutdown for about 24hrs once a week. This is the 1st time in a while that I have shutdown from about three days. Frustrating because cause my last windows laptop did this but it was older with a bad battery.

Consider this...you can't see the battery charge level when the machine is shut down. I might suggest without data that starting up the machine from a shutdown state uses more energy than just letting the machine sleep. That's really how Apple intends us to use our machines. Still, batteries do lose charge over time. 10% per day does seem excessive but if it's not doing it while sleeping I still suspect some kind of reporting error. Do you get normal run time?

I get 8 to 10 hrs normally using mostly safari light use. Haven't really used a whole lot lately from many offline tasks. I feel like that is normal.

What was your battery cycle count out of the box without any charging?

What does Coconut Battery report?
I didn't have coconut battery but downloaded to check it out. It shows 22 charge cycles and 74% capacity. Every time I open it the battery capacity shows something different, the first time was 93%. Apple says 100%.
