Has anyone compared or documented thermal throttling difference between the 14” VS 16” model of the M4MAX 16C/40C?

Wondering about the impact with the M4 running a few degrees warmer than M3 in the smaller enclosure.

Usually max tech covers this but nothing I can find so far.

"The M4 and M4 Pro chips do not feature High Power Mode, so if you want the ability to selectively push your processor to its limits, you will need to buy a machine with the M4 Max chip."

This is incorrect. M$ Pro has High Power Mode

I initially bought myself a 16" binned M4 Max MBP last week, but ultimately decided it was just a little too big. Took it back and got an identical spec 14" and so far I'm much happier. I had an M1 Pro 14" before this so I feel right at home, naturally. I haven't really put the Max chip through it's paces yet but so far I've heard the fans come on at a low speed one time. I'm sure the 16" cooling system would handle this chip better for prolonged heavy use but I think it's still acceptable in the 14". It's nice that Apple doesn't gimp the smaller models like they used to back in the Intel days. I love the 14" size, it's the perfect balance of screen space and portability and I don't think I'll ever stray from it again.
