Hi all

Recently picked up a 14" M1 Pro MacBook Pro as a main machine. I am coming from a Hcakintosh, but CBA with upgrading/ensuring everything works etc, so finally have got a real Mac at home.

My use case has always been primarily using a PC at my desk, so this M1 Pro MacBook Pro is going to be docked/clamshell/lid-down a lot.

I'm worried about the battery life and therefore wanted to ask how do I ensure the battery remains healthy?

Thanks all!

Also remember that even if you do limit charging, it is always best to have the battery cycle every so often as all batteries degrade at a continuous set charge point. Batteries, in general, love to power cycle to sustain performance.
