iPhone 14 Pro 14 Pro Black vs. Silver

For those still deciding, here’s a side by side comparison. Both look sharp, but the Apple logo on the silver doesn’t have the same contrast as the space black, so looks pretty washed out most of the time.

Glad I got the Space Black..... I have alway used the black/graphite but the black is lovely.

My second is a 13 mini is Midnight.... I wish the 14 mini was there I can carry two big phones... even the 14 is big for my needs of a second phone.

That silver is absolutely beautiful. I have the silver 13 Pro, and I love that as well- but the shade on the back of the 14 Pro looks just a bit different, and I really like it.

If you drop it you won't notice the scratches so much because of all of the cracks.

The darker models always smudge really easily from fingerprints on the non-frosted camera glass, so silver wins for me.

Just came from Apple store and their both damn nice. They also seem to be not as slick in your hands as the 13 Pro, a bit grippier.

I think the matte frosted back has been improved this year, mine certainly feels like it has more texture than my 13 Pro…

I always go with silver. It’s the classic Apple look. Also, if you are worried about band scratches (like so many on this forum apparently) you can polish them out. I throw it in a case anyway so color doesnt really matter to me!

One more thing to consider when using a case is that you’ll see the silver band in front between the screen and case. I find it distracting compared to black steel band that blends with front screen a lot better.

Silver as it doesn't overheat in sunlight that easily.

Are you going to go naked or a case? If I were to choose a case I would go with the Apple leather black for the Space Black Pro....I think. I currently have the 12PM in Silver using a Baltic Blue Apple leather case and I like the silver ring.
