I've had an intrusive MacKeeper ad pop us a few times today, here's the screen cap:

What "hoops"? As a contributor, you don't have to do anything to get rid of the ads. It just happens.

That isn't totally true. There are a few minor steps a new contributor must go through to eliminate the ads. When the site design update occurred we had to do it all over again.
