The manager at my Apple Store said you will be able to reserve a phone starting tonight at 10pm.

I spoke to two different local stores and they said the same thing as well. Guess we'll see!
 
How would one reserve their phone? Can this be done on the Apple store online? Or do you need to call?
 
You got to buy the phone on-contract though as of right now to use the reserve system. Unless I missed the option to pay full price.
 
does this also include buying a phone with an existing AT&T account with the no commitment pricing?
 
Nope, you must commit to a new contract using the online reservation system as far as I can tell.

I asked my Apple store about this and they said it also applies to device-only purchases. They may be mistaken however. We will see tonight!
