The manager at my Apple Store said you will be able to reserve a phone starting tonight at 10pm.

I spoke to two different local stores and they said the same thing as well. Guess we'll see!

apple store (orland park, illinois) said the same. 10PM CST, it will be live. note sure about the time anywhere else though.

You got to buy the phone on-contract though as of right now to use the reserve system. Unless I missed the option to pay full price.

Nope, you must commit to a new contract using the online reservation system as far as I can tell.

I asked my Apple store about this and they said it also applies to device-only purchases. They may be mistaken however. We will see tonight!
