OK, got my 4 GB white nano from the Apple Store here in Charlotte today... here are some pictures.

First, the very cool iPod nano bag that you get when you buy a nano:

Your a bloody legend clay *begins drooling*

Can I ask for a pic next to your 60gb photo and in your hand :)

Edit: Never mind looks like you were to fast for me :)

wow, that looks awesome, especially compared to a full-size ipod
but is that--windows media player open on your pc?

Well, I'll make the big trip (.5 miles) to the store tomorrow without calling for avilability.

If they have it, I'll get it, if they don't I won't.

Clay - have you had any problems using iTunes with the second pod?

When I had a 20 and a 40 it would only let me use one.

I'm still working on it... will post a report when I've got more to tell.

Cool, interested to know.

I'm getting e-mails from friends who know what a Mac-head I am asking me if I bought one yet.

Thats pretty sweet. Could you take a side pic of the nano and the ipod against each other?

Ooooh looks good and smaller than i imagined.

I'd probably get one if i didnt already have a 40GB iPod.... what's that? you've got both and i should get both too? ....no, don't tempt me....

To answer Gary's question, yes: Multiple iPods can play nicely with each other now... see the attached screensnip.

To answer Killuminati's question, no: I can't easily take a good picture of that right now. I'll see what I can do later. (I only have two hands, and holding two iPods side-by-side takes them both... no third hand to operate the camera.)

You don't have to hold them, just stand them up on a table.

Neither of them wants to stand up... seriously, the nano is so thin that it's damn difficult to get it to stand upright by itself.

I'll see what I can do later on when I'm not still copying songs to it.

Clay -

Can you take a picture of the nano while doing a one-armed handstand and juggling a chainsaw?

Preferably with the chainsaw on. Just to help with the ambience of the situation.

PLEASE find and use the "macro" button on your camera. That way close-up pictures turn out nice and clear. It's the little button with a flower on it. I think every camera has one.
