Agree completely; we are still in guessland, but a refresh/update of both the MB and MBP seem quite likely; however, nobody knows for certain save for the inestimable Mr Jobs.

Of course no one really knows for sure, but I'm most interested in seeing what (if anything) they do with the MBA this time. I'm very happy with my 17" MBP (new this past March), and the only new Mac thing I would think about for the next year or 2 will be a lighter portable for trips when I don't need to worry about heavy video editing or storage.

I doubt "they" will do much - if anything - to the MBA. It hasn't reached the first anniversary of its (rather revolutionary) existence yet, so my guess (I stress the word guess) is that Apple will only tweak/update the MBA in January, possibly on the anniversary of the first launch of the MBA.

Apple describes the MBA as a sub-notebook because it is small and fits in the sub-notebook category. They have no reason to offer any new notebook because the notebooks they offer sell so well.
