Are we going to get just new Macbooks or MBP' s as well?
The answer is "We know nothing," but "Yes." is also valid.
It says "The spotlight turns to notebooks" so yes
yes for just macbooks or yes for both of them?
"The spotlight turns to notebook" ( without a "s" would not make sense would it? )
btw, it's The Spotlight turns to notebooks with an s
And yes, of course it won't bu just the macbook but also the Pro and maybe the Air and maybe a one more thing wich would include a cheap sub notebook
Yes, most likely MB, MBP and MBA. (MBA could get a speed bump)
Only a guess until Tuesday but all evidence points to both being updated.
The MacBook Air IS your subnotebook.
Don't like it? Tough.
I think the whole line will be refreshed..................
what about the tablet?
Why would u describe MBA as a subnotebook?
Agree completely; we are still in guessland, but a refresh/update of both the MB and MBP seem quite likely; however, nobody knows for certain save for the inestimable Mr Jobs.
Because Apple is.
Of course no one really knows for sure, but I'm most interested in seeing what (if anything) they do with the MBA this time. I'm very happy with my 17" MBP (new this past March), and the only new Mac thing I would think about for the next year or 2 will be a lighter portable for trips when I don't need to worry about heavy video editing or storage.
I doubt "they" will do much - if anything - to the MBA. It hasn't reached the first anniversary of its (rather revolutionary) existence yet, so my guess (I stress the word guess) is that Apple will only tweak/update the MBA in January, possibly on the anniversary of the first launch of the MBA.
what do you mean?
Apple describes the MBA as a sub-notebook because it is small and fits in the sub-notebook category. They have no reason to offer any new notebook because the notebooks they offer sell so well.
what is the invite text? notebooks. plural.
