HATE obsessing over this, I know it's pretty stupid.

First off, 13 Pro Max does show "100% Health" on phone.
iMazing, Coconut showed even a higher % of 103-104% 2 days ago...which isawesome

After updating to this 15.0.2, the "health" in the apps now dipped down to 96% (The phone shows "100%)
Either this update "re-calibrated" the actual health, the apps are outdated...or who knows.

I ALSO find this phone remains at 100% for a LOOOOONG time, I mean it's freakishly long, After 5-6 hours, not even a drop to 99%?? This morning, it showed 100% - it was off the charger since around 9:45pm last night , I find that odd!

So I turned off the phone...waited a minute. Turned it back on and it did show 96%

So it seems that % may be stuck, inaccurate?
It's all strange right now.

Anyone else like me who checks health often notice this after 15.0.2 update on the 13?

What you are seeing is a known issue. iOS 15 is over reporting battery percentage and app time used. One 30 apps for 30 seconds and you will see iOS record it as 30 mins. App time is round up to the next minute. I have opened a case with a senior Apple support advisor. I have also sent feedback to Apple Feedback. If enough people report this, maybe Apple *might* change it to be more accurate.

Coconutbattery is accurate. The capacity of your battery is above Apples standard spec. So when your iPhone says 100% its around 104%. It needs to drain 5% to get to 99% therefore it takes longer.

Its not uncommon to have a battery with a capacity higher than 100% because of variances in the chemistry.

This all makes sense except for one thing. In my case I am only charging my 13 Pro Max to 85%. And after I take it off the charger and use it, I can see that the battery percentage will stay at 85% for hours and then start to drop. If I look at Coconut Battery I can see that the battery is depleting but iOS still shows 85%. The difference between what Coconut Battery and iOS can be as high as 4-5%. Others are seeing the same behavior as well, it does not seem to matter how high you charge the battery.

I've seen a few other posts with this stuck battery %.

It happened again about 1 hour ago. Phone sitting at 89% for hours, restarted it and it shows 81%
Phone was absolutely perfect before this 15.0.2 update.

My battery isn’t stuck, it seems to work fine.

No question, I have an issue.

I downgraded to 15.0.1...who knows if this will help. But I am also about to completely wipe out the phone and start from scratch.

Top right corner will remain "frozen" at the % it's at. It will only update if I shut down the phone, turn it back on.

Only "charge" this phone has received since 11:50pm last night is when I connected it to the Mac to downgrade through iMac iTunes, I will not charge it at all today and see what happens.

It was at 100% overnight - off the charger, restart then showed 95%. Restart after heavy use now shows 92%

Stuck at 92% - More heavy use, filmed almost 7 minutes of The Weather Channel as a test (still at 92%). Reboot then showed 88%
