15" 2.4 Ghz Macbook Pro for $500

Is this a good deal? It has a 160GB HDD, 2.4 Duo Core, and 2 GB of Ram. 15" model. Should I check if it is defective or not? The guy is willing to sell for $500.

It is an excellent deal - if it is true. Describe the circumstances of the sale. If it sounds too good to be true, then it isn't true.

Well, this person is desperate for cash so that is probably why he is selling for so less, but what puzzles me is that he went from his original price of $900 to 500 when I offered. How can I check if this computer is in good working condition? Thanks for your help btw...appreciate it.

No such thing as a 2.4 Core Duo, so its a 2.4 Core 2 Duo

And $500?

99.99% its a scam.

It should be closer to $1100
