15.2 is running fine for me as well. I skipped 15.0 and 15.1 as is my usual habit.

If you've never had issues with a new release, don't upgrade. It's your turn. ;)

I still do not understand why they do not return to 2-3 year releases. It's not like there are any major features when they announce a new OS. They could easily be part of a .x release. My new rule of thumb is I only update until the very end of the OS version to get the most stable/refined of it (currently staying on Sonoma 14.7.1 until around August-September), so for me its gonna be a Sequoia 15.6 or whatever. I also keep a separate partition with the latest OS in case I have an emergency/incompatibility issues of around 100gb. Best of both worlds.

Edit: Also, noticed yesterday when I installed 15.3 that Sequoia is a bit slower on my 10 core M1 Pro. Most likely will be refined towards the end of the OS cycle.

What you do not know, and probably never will know, is what they REALLY corrected in the OS:
it is WAR outside and almost every day they, either find new weaknesses before those can be abused,
or they are alarmed by anyone (or even us) because an abuse.
There was a time that I got one update every 4 or 5 year (70's),
and I remember a single update every 10 months or so (90's).
Nowadays you can only hope that they're quick enough or that the gap is not in what you are using.
It's like Covid etc.: find a virus as soon as possible.
;JOOP!
