Hello, I have the issue I described here https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ions-post-yours.2182340/page-22#post-27505114
The youtuber ZONEofTECH seems to have the same issue with the 2018 i9 processor. The video is here
If you want to check if you have the same issue please download
1.) Cinebench R20
https://apps.apple.com/de/app/cinebench/id1438772273?l=en&mt=12
or
http://http.maxon.net/pub/cinebench/CinebenchR20.dmg
2.) Intel power gadget 3.5.4 (3.5.5 shows error "The Power Gadget driver is not currently loaded.")
https://software.intel.com/file/770353/download
Now run cinebench 3-4 times, open a youtube video and check frequency and temperatures.
Now in the middle of the first test with a youtube video and 3 tabs opened the power is ~20 watts, the frequency ~1.8GHz and the temperature ~74 C.
I received the 2019 15 i7 32gb MacBook Pro. I did some tests. The first Cinebench test was ok. After 2nd or 3rd the situation changes, ιt reduces the power to 30-35 watts, the clock in 2.5-2.7Ghz and the temperature around 80 C. Why is that? Anyone with the same results?
