15" Core i7 MBP Battery Life

So I just got a 2.66 core i7 mbp. What is the battery life on this thing actually supposed to be? I'm only getting about 4 hours on a full battery. Is there anything I can do to improve battery life? (other than screen and keyboard brightness adjustments.) Also does anyone know if there is a way to use only the integrated graphics card?

Plenty of threads on this already.

To sum up the findings: Get a util like GfxCardStatus which tells you which card is in use and which app uses the nVidia card that drains your battery, and also allows you to force the use of the intel or nVidia card.
