    Why not considering the Crucial M4? I have this one and it's blazingly fast. Serious. And I've used many SSD's (Vertex 3, Agility 3).

    its very tempting but it seems like it has a slower write speed =/

    Samsung. Very reliable and fast enough. It's well worthing the price difference.

    Crucial M4 256GB is $203 at Amazon right now.

    is there a diff from up to 400mb to up to 260mb write speeds?

    400 - 260 = 140 mbs

    Yes there is a difference and you will notice it when you run bench mark programs, other then bench marking I doubt you could tell the difference. Both are extremely fast.

    I have the M4 256GB, very happy with it.

    i feel it, i think im gonna settle with the m4, has amazing reviews, im sure i cant go wrong with it!
