15 inch macbook pro touchbar lagging in itunes

So i recently bought a 15 inch mbp and it is very fast and smooth in everything, except for itunes. Everytime i scroll through the album view there are stuttering and beach balls whenever i change songs. Is this normal?


I assumed it was an issue with the integrated graphics card but the lag is still there even when im using the radeon pro 460

I'm getting beachballs all over the place when switching songs in iTunes... Not sure it's actually related with the new MacBook Pro or if it's Sierra.

Did you tried with another MacBook Pro?

No i only have one macbook atm. I think it might have to do with the touchbar though. It never lagged this bad on my old 2010 mbp
 
Have similar problem on my new 15" when dealing with movies.

It is not a Sierra issue, my 2014 MBP works OK.
