I got my 16GB / 1 TB at my local Apple store on the day of.
That train may have left the station since it's release, so you may find there's a 2 week wait or so.
Just check the site you may get lucky.

I wouldn't have either, but I had some stuff I wasn't using anymore. So I traded them in the week before for gift cards. So my Air cost less than the base model, got Apple care+, and got a brand new machine. Been happy with my purchase since release. 👍
As I said before, it can't hurt to check every few days for the one you want. If one can't wait for delivery now that the dates have slipped.

From what I can tell the main ones they regularly carry are the base models and the 16gb/1Tb option since some people are going to want more immediately.
